The current theory about slum dog millionaire.?
I’ve just seen it, and a major part of the film centers around a kid jumping in a latrine and getting covered in the smelly stuff.
In Danny Boyles previous film, Trainspotting, there is a character Spud who has an accident in bed, and ends up throwing it all over his girlfriends family.
Is Danny Boyle weird or something? Why does he keep making films about this, and how did he win an Oscar when it was his second film about fecal matter?

Both poo scenes in Transpotting are in the book by Irvine Welsh, as is the poo scene in Slumdog Millionaire (or Q&A as the book was originally called ) by Vikas Swarup.
I would say if you thought Slumdog Millionaire centred around the ‘poo scene’ you really missed the point of the movie.
Danny Boyle has done a number of other movies, Trainspotting wasn’t his ‘previous film’.
In between the two, there was: "Millions", "28 Days Later", "The Beach", "Sunshine" and "A Life Less Ordinary". Before Trainspotting, there was also "Shallow Grave".
I may be wrong, but I dont remember "poo" in any of those other movies.
Though some may argue that "The Beach" was pure sh1te
